A barber, Benjamin Parker, is accused for a crime by a corrupted judge. After getting out of prison, he seeks revenge under the name Sweeney Todd.

This is one of my favorite Tim Burton movies! The songs are fantastic and the cast is great. The whole cast sings perfectly that it makes you want to listen to the soundtrack over and over. The story never fails to entertain or gets boring. The moment it starts it keeps getting better. Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett’s chemistry is undoubtedly my favorite aspect of the whole entire film. She understands his rage but wants him to enjoy life rather than be a killer. Slowly she sees that it’s something he can’t control so she helps him in the craziest way. Tim Burton’s visuals are captivating with dark grimy areas to bring out how horrible Fleet Street is. The weather is ugly and grey showing us that’s the world these people live in. There’s no real happiness in here at all. It’s a very grim and bleak movie but it’s the revenge tale with incredible music that will make you want to keep watching it. If you don’t like musicals or gory violence with tons of blood then this is not your thing. But if you handle that or a fan of Tim Burton, you must check it out!
